FC Barcelona made light work of Elche, winning 5-0. Raphinha opened the scoring from the penalty spot (14'), before Karim Adeyemi doubled the lead (45'). Real Madrid edged past Espanyol 2-1 away from home, courtesy of an early Jude Bellingham goal (9') and a late winner from Carlos Espí deep into stoppage time (90'), after Antonio Calatrava had levelled for the hosts (30').
Elsewhere, Atlético Madrid shared the points with Villarreal (2-2) in a match that saw Le Normand sent off (76'), after two penalties converted by Gerard Moreno (66') and Georges Mikautadze (78') for the visitors, against goals from Marc Pubill (59') and Giovanni Simeone (85') for the hosts.
