Yassine Bounou was born on 5 April 1991 in Montreal, Canada, and began at Wydad AC in Morocco before joining Atlético Madrid in 2012, playing for the reserve team and going on loan to Real Zaragoza. Bono then moved to Girona and Sevilla, becoming one of Europe's best goalkeepers and winning the Europa League twice, before joining Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia in 2023. Bono is regarded as Morocco's legendary goalkeeper after his exceptional performance at the 2022 World Cup, which helped power the Atlas Lions to their historic semi-final.
