Milan Snap Up Strasbourg's Gem Diego Moreira in a Record Deal

AC Milan have officially confirmed the signing of Belgian international winger Diego Moreira (22) from Racing Club de Strasbourg, on a five-year contract.

Deal terms

• A deal worth around €50m, excluding bonuses
• Up to €10m in further add-ons, plus a sell-on percentage
• A five-year contract with the Italian club

A rapid rise

Moreira joined Strasbourg from Chelsea two years ago for just €8-9m, going on to make 76 appearances for the French club, scoring 7 goals and providing 16 assists. AC Milan, managed by Ruben Amorim, beat RB Leipzig to his signature, after earlier interest from AS Roma.
