Bouaddi: Lille sets a €100 million price tag to ward off suitors

Olivier Létang, president of LOSC Lille, has spoken about the future of young player Ayyoub Bouaddi, Morocco's rising star, who has become a target for several major European clubs following his standout run at the 2026 World Cup.

A flat refusal to open negotiations

Létang made clear that his club had not opened the door to negotiations with clubs capable of affording Bouaddi's transfer fee, stating: "So far, I haven't entered into any negotiations because I refused to engage in discussions with clubs that could afford his transfer." He added that there was a "very high chance" the 18-year-old would remain at Lille next season.

A long-term contract and a hefty price tag

Bouaddi is under contract with Lille until June 2029, having extended his commitment to the club last December, putting the French side under no pressure whatsoever to sell. According to several reports, Lille have set a high asking price for the midfielder, ranging between €80 million and €100 million, reflecting the great value the club places on him.

Interest from Europe's biggest clubs

Bouaddi has attracted strong interest from several major European clubs since the start of the 2026 World Cup, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, and Liverpool, with his solid run alongside the Atlas Lions having further boosted his market value.
