Old debts catch up with Zamalek... FIFA settles the dispute with Nahdat Zamamra

FIFA's Dispute Resolution Chamber has issued a new ruling in the case brought by Moroccan club Nahdat Zamamra against Egyptian side Zamalek, concerning outstanding financial dues linked to a previous transfer deal between the two clubs.

According to the ruling, the Chamber ordered Zamalek to settle the remaining amount owed to Nahdat Zamamra, setting a deadline for compliance to avoid additional sporting sanctions in case of delayed payment.

The case is part of a series of financial disputes seen across African football between clubs from different countries, which are often resolved through FIFA's intervention on transfer-related compensation matters.

Zamalek's management has not issued any official comment on the ruling so far, while Nahdat Zamamra officials welcomed the verdict, describing it as a fair recognition of the club's financial rights.
