AtlasGoal's editorial team has selected its Best Arab XI at the 2026 World Cup, in a 4-2-3-1 formation combining stars from Egypt and Morocco, the leading Arab representatives at this edition, in which Morocco reached the quarter-finals.

In goal, the pick is Yassine Bounou, Al-Hilal and Morocco's goalkeeper.

The back four is shared between both countries: right-back Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), centre-back Issa Diop (Fulham), centre-back Rami Rabia (Al Ain), and left-back Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United).

In defensive midfield, the duo of Neil El Aynaoui (Lens) and Ayoub Bouaddi (Lille) provides the balance in front of the defence.

Just behind the striker, an attacking trio of Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Emam Ashour (Al Ahly) on the wings, with Azzedine Ounahi (Girona) through the middle.

Up front, Ismael Saibari (PSV Eindhoven) was picked as the lone striker.
