Morocco Awarded Hosting Rights for 2027 U-17 AFCON and 2026 Futsal AFCON
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Morocco will host the 2027 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Morocco will host the finals of the 2027 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.
When the tournaments take place
The U-17 AFCON finals will be held in April and May 2027, while the futsal tournament runs from 12 to 21 October 2026.
CAF's youth strategy
CAF stressed that youth competitions are a key pillar of its strategy for developing African football, giving rising talents the chance to compete at the highest level. As part of the youth tournament calendar, Ghana will host the U-20 tournament in February and March 2027, while Egypt will stage the U-23 tournament in 2027, serving as a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
