Lekjaa Mobilizes All Institutions for the 2030 World Cup Final in Morocco

Fawzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, affirmed Morocco's determination to mobilize all its resources to host the 2030 World Cup final at the Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane, during a campaign rally in the region ahead of legislative elections set for September 23.

Lekjaa said: "We will mobilize all Moroccans to host the 2030 World Cup final, whether some like it or not," stressing that Morocco will mobilize all its institutions and every Moroccan to achieve this goal, regardless of any opposition it may face.

The Hassan II Stadium project

The Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane is among Morocco's major sports infrastructure projects, part of Morocco's preparations to host the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. The venue is expected to offer a large seating capacity and be eligible to host major matches during the tournament.
