Draymond Green re-signs with Golden State after LeBron James pursuit falls through
The forward signs a one-year, $27.7 million deal to stay with the Warriors.

Draymond Green has agreed a new one-year, $27.7 million deal with the Golden State Warriors through the 2026-27 season, after previously declining a similar player option in hopes the added cap flexibility would help the team land LeBron James.
That plan fell through when James signed with the Philadelphia 76ers instead. Green did not receive a no-trade clause despite being eligible for one, and the new deal pushes the Warriors over the first luxury-tax apron.
