Giannis Antetokounmpo traded to the Miami Heat in blockbuster deal
Milwaukee part ways with their two-time MVP for a package of players and draft picks.

The Milwaukee Bucks have traded two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat, in a deal that also included Bobby Portis, in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round picks, a pick swap and an additional second-rounder.
The Boston Celtics had been a serious contender for Antetokounmpo, offering Jaylen Brown and two first-round picks, but Milwaukee opted for Miami's package, built around promising young talent and a deeper draft-pick haul.
