Morocco's national team crosses the 500-million-euro market value mark

The Moroccan national team's combined market value has crossed the symbolic 500-million-euro mark for the first time in its history. Following its run to the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, the Atlas Lions squad is now valued at 512.7 million euros.

The rise reflects the international recognition earned by several Moroccan players after the World Cup jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, where Morocco confirmed the rising-power status in African football it had already hinted at during the 2022 edition in Qatar.

This record valuation places the Moroccan national team among the most highly valued squads in African football, underlining the growing appeal of its players to major European clubs.
