Official: Allegri Appointed Napoli Coach Until 2029
Italian club Napoli have officially announced the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as their new head coach, on a three-year contract running until 30 June 2029, succeeding fellow Italian Antonio Conte on the bench. Allegri joins Napoli as a free agent following his departure from AC Milan, who dismissed him at the end of May after a disappointing campaign that saw the club finish fifth, missing out on Champions League qualification. Allegri's immediate task at Napoli will be to stabilize the side and lead them back to reclaiming the Serie A title (Scudetto), after finishing last season as runners-up behind the reigning champions.
