The first final, played on 23 November 1956 in Casablanca, saw MC Oujda beat Wydad AC (1-1, the title awarded on first goal scored), before the Oujda club retained its title the following year. AS FAR (the royal army's club) is the competition's most successful club with 12 titles, ahead of Raja Casablanca and Wydad AC, both credited with 9 titles each.
