Barcelona Officially Announce Signing of Karim Adeyemi From Borussia Dortmund

FC Barcelona have officially announced the signing of German-Nigerian forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, in a deal reported at 22 million euros, plus variable add-ons of up to an additional 7 million euros. Adeyemi has signed a five-year contract with the Catalan club running through June 2031, on a net annual salary of 6 million euros, while Borussia Dortmund retained a 35% sell-on clause on any future transfer of the 24-year-old. The signing forms part of Barcelona's push to strengthen their attacking options, banking on Adeyemi's pace and ability to break down defences, following a standout spell at Dortmund that also earned him caps for the German national team.
