From PAOK to Arsenal — Tzolis's Journey to a Record Premier League Deal

English club Arsenal have officially announced the signing of Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, in a deal reported at 40 million euros, making it the most expensive transfer in Belgian league history, surpassing the previous record held by Charles De Ketelaere. Although Arsenal have not officially confirmed the length of the contract, media reports suggest Tzolis (24) has signed a five-year deal running through 2031. The move follows an outstanding season at Club Brugge, where he scored 22 goals and provided 29 assists in 52 appearances. Tzolis came through PAOK's academy in Greece before making his first move to England with Norwich City, then playing for Twente in the Netherlands and Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany, before settling in Belgium with Club Brugge. His arrival at the Gunners comes as a replacement for Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, who recently moved to Besiktas.
