Lens Held to 2-2 Draw by Charleroi in Second Pre-Season Test
The French side draw with their Belgian counterparts in their second friendly, after a win over Boulogne-sur-Mer in their first test.
RC Lens settled for a 2-2 draw against Belgian side Charleroi in their second pre-season friendly of the 2026-27 campaign, played at the Stade François-Blin in Avion.
The match produced quickfire goals in both halves: Guiagon opened the scoring for Charleroi from the penalty spot in the 7th minute, before Sima equalized for the French side in the 11th. Hazard then restored Lens's lead from the penalty spot in the 49th minute, only for Romsaas to level for Charleroi in the 56th.
The result follows Lens's 4-1 win over Boulogne-sur-Mer in their opening pre-season test the week before, as the French club continues its preparations for the new season.
