The French Football Federation (FFF) is set to officially announce Zinedine Zidane as the new head coach of Les Bleus on Tuesday, 28 July, at a press conference scheduled for 11am at the federation's Paris headquarters, with FFF president Philippe Diallo in attendance. The appointment, which comes with a four-year contract running through the end of the 2030 World Cup, brings an end to the Didier Deschamps era, who has led the team since 2012. According to French media reports, Zidane, who has not coached since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, is expected to officially take charge starting 1 September.
