Women's AFCON 2026: full schedule and results of every match

The 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) is being held in Morocco from 26 July to 16 August, in Rabat and Casablanca. For the first time in its history, the tournament features 16 teams split into four groups of four, and doubles as qualification for the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.
Group A
- 26 Jul — Algeria 2-0 Senegal
- 26 Jul — Morocco 4-0 Kenya
- 30 Jul — Senegal 1-0 Kenya
- 30 Jul — Morocco 1-0 Algeria
- 3 Aug — Senegal 0-0 Morocco
- 3 Aug — Kenya 0-2 Algeria
Final standings: Morocco (7 pts) and Algeria (6 pts) finish first and second and advance to the quarter-finals, ahead of Senegal (4 pts) and Kenya (0 pts).
Group B
- 27 Jul — South Africa 1-2 Tanzania
- 27 Jul — Ivory Coast 4-1 Burkina Faso
- 31 Jul — South Africa 2-2 Ivory Coast
- 31 Jul — Burkina Faso 2-1 Tanzania
- 4 Aug — Burkina Faso 0-1 South Africa
- 4 Aug — Tanzania 1-2 Ivory Coast
Final standings: Ivory Coast (7 pts) top the group ahead of South Africa (4 pts), with both advancing, ahead of Burkina Faso and Tanzania (3 pts each).
Group C

Despite losing on the final matchday, Malawi top the group on goal difference, ahead of defending champions Nigeria — both advance to the quarter-finals. Zambia, despite scoring 8 goals, are eliminated behind them, along with Egypt.
Group D

Cameroon (6 pts) have already secured top spot and a quarter-final berth. The second qualification spot is decided this Thursday between Ghana and Mali, level on points (3 each): a draw is enough for Ghana, while Mali must win. Cape Verde have already been eliminated.
Quarter-finals
The quarter-finals will be played on 8 and 9 August. Two ties are already set: Ivory Coast against Algeria in Casablanca, and Morocco against South Africa in Rabat. The other two, involving Malawi, Nigeria, Cameroon and the winner of Ghana-Mali, will be confirmed once Group D's final matchday concludes.
