Official: Lee Kang-in Leaves PSG for Atlético Madrid in €40m Deal

Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed the departure of South Korean international Lee Kang-in to Atlético Madrid, in a deal worth around €40 million. The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Spanish club. Lee, who joined PSG from Mallorca ahead of the 2023-24 season, made 124 appearances for the Parisian side, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists, and won 12 trophies with the club, including three Ligue 1 titles and back-to-back Champions League crowns. He now returns to Spanish football, a league he knows well from his earlier spells with Valencia and Mallorca, and will wear Atlético's number 7 shirt, left vacant by a former France international.
