Paris Saint-Germain closed out their second and final preseason friendly with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Friday evening at the historic Nya Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg.

Young forward Ibrahim Mbaye opened the scoring in just the 2nd minute with a powerful right-footed strike, before Bryan Mbeumo levelled for Manchester United in the 32nd minute with a left-footed finish from the edge of the box, set up by Amad Diallo.

PSG's head coach started several key players, including Kvaratskhelia, Pacho and Safonov, while Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and João Neves came on in the second half. The match marked PSG's final preparation before facing Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup and Lens in the Trophée des Champions.

Manchester United, meanwhile, remain unbeaten in three preseason friendlies this summer, following a defeat to Wrexham in July. The match saw Mason Mount forced off injured after just 20 minutes, while goalkeeper Tom Heaton was also withdrawn in the 49th minute.
