Manchester United's pursuit of Brazilian holding midfielder Danilo, currently at Botafogo, is fading, with the player now leaning towards a move to Newcastle.
Valued at £34 million, the 25-year-old previously had a spell in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, making 50 appearances before returning to Brazil.
