Liverpool: Jacquet, Muñoz, Araujo — the Reds' transfer window state of play
The full state of play on Liverpool's transfer window: Mohamed Salah's departure, the Jacquet and Muñoz signings, and the hot Ronald Araujo saga with Barcelona.

Liverpool's summer transfer window is dominated by one big departure: Mohamed Salah, whose contract expired with no designated successor lined up for the Reds' attack. The club has nonetheless invested heavily in rebuilding, with two major signings and a live saga still unfolding around Ronald Araujo.
The big exit: Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah has left Liverpool after nine seasons, his contract expiring on June 30: the forward had agreed to cut his deal short by a year following a difficult season marked by being dropped and public friction with manager Arne Slot. He has not signed with anyone yet — Roma, Juventus, Fenerbahçe and North American side San Diego FC are among the reported suitors, while interest from the Saudi league remains conditional on a salary and contract length befitting his status.
Confirmed arrivals
- Jérémy Jacquet — from Stade Rennais, €63.6m, the summer's biggest signing

- Ifeanyi-Arthur Ndukwe — from Austria Vienna

The live saga: Ronald Araujo closing in
