Who is Michael Agbekpornu?
The 27-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, born in Accra, plays as a central defensive midfielder and is right-footed. He joins the Green club as a free agent following a brief spell at Spain's SD Huesca, which he joined in February 2026 from Croatian side Slaven Belupo for €150,000, making just 10 appearances in Spain's second division. His career has also taken him through Croatia and Albania.
Agbekpornu has signed with Raja until 30 June 2029.
Straight into the training camp
Once the transfer was finalized, Agbekpornu joined Raja's training camp in Agadir, at the request of head coach Nasreddine Nabi, who wanted him involved in training as soon as possible to integrate with the group ahead of the season.
