Founding and Early Years
Al-Nassr was founded on 24 October 1955 by the Al-Ja'ba brothers, who first organized training on an old vacant lot in Riyadh, before the club was promoted to Saudi Arabia's first division in 1963.
Club Evolution
Nicknamed "Al-Alami" (The Global One), the club wears yellow and blue, its crest featuring a stylized map of the Arabian Peninsula. They have played at Al-Awwal Park since 2020, after long being based at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
Great Managers
Francisco Maturana left his mark on the club's history with a league title, as did José Daniel Carreño in 2013-14. Jorge Jesus (2023-2026) brought the domestic title back in 2025-26, ending a seven-year drought, before making way for Ange Postecoglou, appointed in July 2026.
