Marie Ngah scored twice (20', 45'), with Naomi Eto adding a third (29'), as Cameroon claimed the title in style against a Malawi side playing their first-ever final at the tournament.

Morocco and Algeria battle for third

In the third-place match on 15 August at the Rabat Olympic Stadium, Morocco and Algeria drew 1-1 in regulation on goals from Kautar Azraf (37') and lina boussaha (83'), before Algeria won the penalty shoot-out 3-2 to finish third.
