History of Al-Khaleej
Founding and Early Years
Al-Khaleej was founded in 1945 by residents of Saihat to compete in the league organized by Aramco for its foreign employees, initially under the name "Al-Nisr" (The Eagle), in yellow and black.
Club Evolution
Renamed "Al-Khaleej" by order of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz after he attended one of their matches against Al-Shabab, the club adopted yellow and green at that point and has since played at Prince Nayef Sports City Stadium, in Qatif.
