Founding and Early Years
Como Foot-Ball Club was founded in May 1907, its origins linked to an exhibition match held in 1906 on the shores of Lake Como between members of the Canottieri Lario rowing club and performers from Buffalo Bill's travelling circus, said to have inspired the club's creation. It adopted royal blue and white as its colours.
Club Evolution
Como play at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, completed in 1927, one of the smallest stadiums in Serie A despite the club's considerable resources today.
