Founding and Early Years
The club was born on 9 July 1904 as Gymnaste Club, initially focused on gymnastics and athletics, before taking the name Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice on 22 December 1924, following a merger with Gallia FAC.
Club Evolution
Nicknamed "Les Aiglons" (The Eagles) or "Le Gym," the club wear red and black inherited from Gallia FAC. After decades at the Stade du Ray, OGC Nice moved in 2013 to the Allianz Riviera, built for Euro 2016.
